About Hayya

A Hayya Card is a mandatory Fan ID required for local and international fans attending the World Cup. Starting from 1 November 2022, all visitors entering Qatar should have an approved Hayya Card. The Hayya Card offers several benefits, including free access to the Doha Metro and access to fan zones.

Hayya Card applications can be made online through the Hayya website or via the ‘Hayya to Qatar 2022’ mobile application, which is available via the iOS App Store, Google Play and Huawei App Gallery. Applicants must have a valid match ticket number and upload their personal details, passport, photograph, and accommodation information.

Here is our detailed guide on the requirements and how to apply for Hayya Card.

Services Available At Hayya Service Centre

There are mainly four kinds of services available:

  1. Accessibility: The Centre will help those requiring accessibility assistance and special services during the matches.
  1. Hayya Issue Resolution: There is a Hayya Issue Resolution Centre for solving Hayya-related problems.
  1. Print Hayya Card: Fans can print their physical Hayya Cards free of cost at these centres. Please note that a physical Hayya Card is not mandatory for any service; the digital Hayya Card on your mobile app is good enough.
  1. Others: The Hayya Centres will offer face-to-face support for local and international fans with issues related to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

How To Get Hayya Card Printed

Those who want to print a physical copy of their Hayya Card can do it through either of these Hayya Service Centres. The only requirement is that your Hayya Card should be fully approved.

Before visiting the Centre, keep your Hayya Card ready on your mobile app (Hayya to Qatar 2022).

  1. The staff at the Reception will ask about the purpose of your visit. Tell them you need to print a physical Hayya Card, and they will check your digital Hayya Card to verify that it is approved.
  2. Take a token number from the token dispenser machine and wait for your turn.
  3. Proceed to your respective counter once your number has been called.
  4. Present your digital Hayya Card. They will verify this in the system.
  5. Your Hayya Card will be printed at the counter.

Hi Minyar Sassi, The last date to apply for physical cards by post was last month. You don’t need a physical card for entry to Qatar or the stadium. If you still want it, you can go to the Hayya Service Centre (when you reach Doha) and get your card printed.

    2. Hi….
My son has applied for his Hayya card for the visa on 02 Nov 2022.
the status is ” application pending, we are processing your request.”
He has fulfilled all the requirements.
( valid scanned copy of the Passport, photograph, accommodation is confirmed and the match ticket etc)
The only cause to feel anxious
is, he has a very long name. ( 48 characters) the space given isn’t sufficient to write his long name as per the details given on the passport. According to the final outcome of the Hayya application you have omitted one of his names.
Will this be a problem to get the approval from you. Hence please note it’s your mistake for not giving enough space to type and one name is omitted from your system.
As per your requirements, Kindly make a note of this and refer the passport details when you approve and without keeping it for pending or reject it for your own oversights.
He has already paid a huge sum of money a huge fan of football, to be part of The FIFA World Cup 2022.
      Awaiting for a prompt response.
      Regards
      D.C Senaratne
      A very worried mother.
