  1. Hello, I applied for an RP for my wife, and it has been under process for the last month. During a visit to Duhail Immigration, I had the opportunity to meet with the officer, who informed me that I would receive a message within 3 days. However, it has been 5 days now, and the status is still “under process.” Should I visit again, or is it advisable to wait longer? Your guidance would be appreciated.

Hi Prabhakaran, Since the officer mentioned that you will receive a message in 3 days, it should be in the last stage. You need to check the application status on your Metrash. If it shows the visa number it may take 2-4 more days for CEID clearance. If the visa number is issued, visiting Duhail won’t help as it is not with them. If there is no visa number and status is still Under Process, may be you can visit Duhail (optional).

    1. Doha Guides Team

Hi Faheem, If you are seeing an X error, this could be a cache memory issue. Try compressing the image to less than 500 kb, change the file name and try again. If you still see the error try from a different phone.

    1. Correcting data of the issued family residence visa. in this case mismatch on passport number/validity and miss on profession.

    2. do the office still open on 5pm in the afternoon of working day, for assisting correcting data as mentioned on item 1 above.

thank very much for tour assist

    best regards.

    1. Hi DoE, Main Immigration Office (Duhail) may be busy and sometimes they don’t allow entry in the evening. For correction of approved visa, you can try visiting any other MOI Service Center. Most probably they can do that.

      1. Hello Doha Guide Team,

Thanks for the information. Would you please inform the other MOI Service Centre that can handle the corrections of the approved visa, other than Duhail?

        thank you,

        best regards
        Doe

        1. Hi DoE, You can try Mesaimeer, Wakra or Pearl. They were allowing corrections earlier. But we never know when they change policies.

  15. Hi I applied for family visit for my wife on 11 th August through Metrash2. Still the status showing “Application under process”. Not yet changed to either review or approved state. Is it get approved? Or can I expect any updation still?

  16. I have Applied for Family RP for my wife and daughter on Aug 15, how can i proceed from now, till what time can i wait ? after what period can i visit the office ?

    1. Doha Guides Team

Hi Sarath Kumar, It seems expatriate affairs are still in Gharaffa. Those who visited Gharaffa recently were asked to come back in September.

    1. Doha Guides Team

Hi Jothi, If the reason for rejection says “sponsor does not meet conditions” either it could be salary or profession. If you have the required qualifications and still it was rejected, you have to visit Immigration office with all your original documents. Note that Gharaffa Immigration is not allowing entry this month. You can either try visiting or go next month.

      1. Hai
I applied for a visit visa, my mother in law , i got sms from Metrash 2, the missing document. I uploaded the document. Again, I got the same sms..

        1. Doha Guides Team

Hi Senthil, Sometimes there could be technical error while uploading file on Metrash. You can try taking a photo of the document from Metrash app itself (instead of uploading an old file). Also make sure this is the document that was missing.
