  2. Hi,
I applied for family RP 2 months back, it status is still under process and i went to new immigration office multiple times(including today 21/4/24) but the security is not allowing me to get inside. There is no way to reach out to the captain, and i believe they have stopped giving new RP to certain countries. It feels very bad in this country when we approach for a help and they don’t even listen to us only one statement they have to say- “under process and under review not allowed”. it feels like we did something wrong that’s why it is happening.
Visiting immigration office is of no use, don’t know how much more need to wait. I tried to reach out in email as well as did multiple calls all they have to say is please wait or please visit immigration office. The MOI should do something for this status also so that atleast applicants like me could get a clear picture abt what is pending?, why? and untill when it will be approved?.
At least if the application is more than one month old they should allow to check with the officers
There are multiple applicants like me visiting there and most of them are indians who are stuck with under process status.
Speaking arabic is also a great advantage there, i observed people speaking arabic where allowed inside(not sure it was the same case as mine)
    Thanks

  3. Hi,

I applied for family RP on 20th February. And I didn’t received any confirmation email. Since then my application status in Metrash2 is showing under process. I tried 3 times to follow up but wasn’t allowed to enter. Could anyone please guide me regarding this issue.

    Thanks.

  4. Absolutely no offence to the MOI when I report that even if you show up during the correct timing and dates with all your documentation, you could easily be turned away from entering the facility. If they are too busy or are unable to allow you inside for any reason, there’s no way to anticipate that fact. So don’t automatically expect that you will be allowed inside. Actually expect to be turned away, then if by good fortune you are actually allowed inside the facility you can be pleasantly surprise. 🙂

  5. Dear Doha Guides
I have applied RP for my newborn baby 61 days after she was born here in Qatar, My concern, is the penalty would be applied? and it’s been 1 month and 1 day now since I have applied for her RP and the status is still “Under Process”, I already went to Duhail Immigration twice for follow up they will check and will tell just check after 3days, but still the status is same. What should I do. Thank you in advance.

    Dear Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out regarding my mother’s current situation. She is currently in Qatar on a visit visa under my sponsorship, and we are planning a trip to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah before returning to Qatar.

Since her visit visa is a single entry, we’ve heard about an option available through Metrash where we can obtain a “Return Visa” for her, by paying QAR 100. This would allow her to exit the country and return to Qatar using the same visa. However, when I contacted the helpline at 107 for assistance, they mentioned that this process can be done through Metrash. Unfortunately, when attempting to use Metrash, the option does not seem to be functioning as expected, and it displays “no records”.

I’m reaching out to seek guidance or assistance on how to proceed with obtaining the return visa for my mother so that she can smoothly travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and return to Qatar without any issues.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi Unanimous user, Many others have reported that this function is not working properly on Metrash. So the only option is to check directly at any MOI Service Center.
